Constructed in 1861, this historic hotel building underwent extension work in 1999 to reach its current size. Despite renovation, the hotel still maintains its traditional charm. Business guests will appreciate the hotel's extensive conference facilities. Ten rooms are available for conferences, meetings and events of all kinds.

The Stuben (parlours) are open daily from 11:00 until 14:30, and again from 18:00 until 23:00. The Laurenzi restaurant features a terrace, and serves tasty international and regional cuisine. The Laurenzi is open from Monday to Sunday, from 18:00 until 22:30. On Sundays, the restaurant is open for lunch from 12:00 until 14:30.

Other popular activities in the area include boat trips on the Tegernsee lake and cable car rides to the top of Mount Wallberg. The nearby toboggan run is also very popular during summer months.
