The land around the El Rincón de la Victoria is a typical example of the coastal Axarquia countryside; olive and almond trees, carobs and vines grow throughout the region giving the countryside the green tone associated with sub-tropical crops. At the present time, places well worth a visit are the Treasure Caves, famous for its cave paintings, the Bezmeliana Fortress - one of the most highly- valued pieces of architecture in Europe, the Almenar towers situated on the Coast, and last, but by no means least, the fantastic sunny beaches. The local gastronomy is largely based on fish (sardines, jurel, Victorian whitebate and more ), but you should not forget the good Muscatel wine or the local dishes, such as fried goat, migas (fried savoury breadcrumbs) maimones soup (made with bread and olive oil) or grilled lamb. The main local holiday is celebrated on the 16th July with the procession of the Virgen de Carmen, patron saint of fishermen, which takes place at night and is accompanied by nurmerous boats.

By car: - Take the motorway towards Rincón de la Victoria and exit at the signpost Cala del Moral. - Carry on straight until you reach the petrol station and then take the first street on the right, from there you will be able to see the hotel.
