Santa Maria is located directly on one of the most beautiful beaches of Capo Vaticano, valued throughout, Calabria. The area is green and lush and bordering the beautiful sandy beach of Santa Maria. On the resort you’ll find a restaurant, and above all, bar, pool with separate childrens corner, tennis court, mini market and a childrens playground.

Rooms

The apartments are technically one room apartments with private facilities, but the large shaded terrace with kitchen makes the living space very spacious and airy. The kitchen is a full sized one with all tools provided to prepare a delicious Italian "pranzo" or "cena" using fresh fish and/or vegetables bought at the local market.

Cancellation policy

Free of charge 30 days before date of arrival, 50% up to 14 days, no refunds are possible after that. The hotel reserves the right to pre-authorise credit cards prior to arrival.

Child policy

During high season (July and August) entertainment is provided.

The Santa Maria Resort is a family run resort since 25 years and has become a popular destination amongst Italians. The food served in the restaurant is the pride of the family and the friendly service is second to none even if not all the staff speak English. We invite you to come and live the real Italy for a few weeks and be guests of the Miceli family in Santa Maria.

Area information Capo Vaticano is one of the most beautifull parts of Southern Italy and very indicated for tranquil family holidays. Santa Maria is one of the best beaches in the area and other private little bays are a short stroll or swim away. Santa Maria is small community on the beach with a church, a market and few restaurants and bars. For a wider selection of restaurants and nightlife the nearby town of Tropea is reccommended, less then 10 miles away. Travel information Fly to Lamezia Terme (SUF) using for example Ryanair and take the shuttle to the trainstation. From there take the train to Ricadi and call the hotel for a transfer (not during siesta hours: 13.00-1600). Alternatively there are taxi's available at the airport. The journey costs around a 100 euro during daytime. Driving from the A3 motorway, towards the south, take exit Pizzo, follow indications for Tropea, then Capo Vaticano and follow the indications for Santa Maria.
