Our modern extension with its 12 cottage-style rooms mirrors the private character of the house. If you want to hold meetings here or just have some business to attend to in the area, our business rooms are comfortably equipped with bath, WC, direct dial telephone and satellite TV. Our hotel is also perfectly suited for hosting private events such as weddings, christenings or birthdays. In our bridal suite, you can simply enjoy a cosy weekend with just the two of you.

For over 30 years the Scherrers, a husband-and-wife team, have been practising what may now be termed 'gastronomy' in Recklinghausen. Since 1994 they have been running a successful hotel business, and since 2000 its affiliated vinotheque in addition.

Food & Beverages

Our menu, which changes weekly, consists of fresh, high quality ingredients. We spoil you with fresh regional produce and international cuisine. Many of our ingredients are freshly delivered from neighbouring farmyards, and we combine these with other specialities to achieve a veritable taste sensation.

Wireless Internet Hotspot is available in the hotel rooms and is free of charge.

Free Public parking is possible on site.

Pets are allowed on request. No extra charges.

Hotel policies

Cancellation Policy

If cancelled up to 1 day before the date of arrival, no fee will be charged.  If cancelled later, 80 percent of the first night will be charged.  In case of no-show, the first night will be charged. 

Deposit Policy

No deposit will be charged. 

VAT and city/tourist taxes

VAT is included.  Service charge is included.  City/tourist tax is not applicable. 

Meal Plan

Buffet breakfast is included in the room rate. 

Children and Extra Bed Policy

All children are welcome.  All children under 5 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.  All children under 2 years stay free of charge for cots.  All older children or adults are charged EUR 15.00 per night and person for extra beds.  Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 1.
