Perfectly situated in the centre of Reading, the Duke Street Restaurant & Bar has undergone amazing interior design changes. We are open for dinner Monday to Thursday. Non-smoking restaurant, smoking permitted in the bar. The menu has a strong emphasis on British food and ingredients are sourced from a range of local farms and suppliers.

Food & Beverages

The new Indian restaurant serves good, authentic Indian cuisine, all individually freshly prepared and served in a modern and relaxed environment. Continental food is served in the hotel’s lobby area from 18:00 to 22:00.

Wired internet is available in the entire hotel and costs GBP 7.99 per 24 hours.

Free private parking is possible on site.

Cancellation Policy

If cancelled up to 1 day before the date of arrival, no fee will be charged.  If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the first night will be charged. 

Deposit Policy

No deposit will be charged. 

VAT and city/tourist taxes

15 % VAT is included.  Service charge is not applicable.  City/tourist tax is included. 

Meal Plan

Full English breakfast is included in the room rate.  Dinner costs GBP 20.00 per person. 

Children and Extra Bed Policy

All children are welcome.  All children under 1 year stay free of charge when using existing bedding.  All children under 2 years are charged GBP 35.00 per night and person for cots.  All older children or adults are charged GBP 65.00 per night and person for extra beds.  Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 2.
