Framed by the Bavarian Alps, very much appreciated, it lies at the entrance to the Berchtesgaden National Park. Our family-run hotel is located on the banks of the beautiful lake Hintersee. Our spacious and lovingly furnished guest rooms offer a view of the mountains and all of the comforts you need in order to completely unwind. This guesthouse is the ideal base for a variety of day trips and hiking tours.

Food & Beverages

We offer a daily changing menu and a wide range of regional and national dishes, which we serve either in our stylishly furnished restaurant or on our sunny terrace. Specialities include freshly caught trout. Be sure to order a freshly pulled Berchtesgaden beer when ordering one of our hearty Brotzeit meals. Our restaurant will be exclusively non-smoking from 25 December 2007.

Area information In the summer, you can go for a boat trip or go fishing, while ice skating and curling are possible in the winter. Nordic walking and hiking can be enjoyed whatever the season. The cultural city of Salzburg also lies close by.

If cancelled or modified up to 14 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged. If cancelled or modified later or in case of no-show, 80 percent of all nights will be charged.

Deposit Policy

No deposit will be charged.

VAT and city/tourist taxes

19 % VAT is included. Service charge is not applicable. EUR 2.10 city/tourist tax per person per night is not included.

Meal Plan

Buffet breakfast is included in the room rate.

Children and Extra Bed Policy

All children are welcome. All children under 6 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding. All children under 2 years stay free of charge for cots. There is no capacity for extra beds in the room. Maximum capacity of babycots in a room is 1.
