This charming country villa dates back to the 18th century. It is surrounded by lush olive groves and grape vines and is an excellent base for those wishing to experience the delights of Tuscany. Clients appreciate the hotel is just a short walk from the centre of Radda in Chianti, and above all, halfway between the historic cities of Florence and Siena. Each guest room is comfortable and elegant, very much appreciated, and features its own, individual design. Walking around the hotel you will be impressed by its collection of period furniture, valued throughout, frescoed ceilings, and grand fireplaces. Indoors you will find a TV room, highly regarded, lounge bar, and library, plus a wine shop where you can try before you buy. You can take a dip in the heated swimming pool, and above all, which is set amongst floral gardens. The in-house restaurant boasts a fantastic view from its terrace, very much appreciated, while the traditional inn is set in the grounds of the Castello San Donato wine estate. In the evening, valued throughout, you have a choice of 2 equally good settings for dinner. A half-board option is available. Both eateries offer a menu of traditional Tuscan dishes and fine, and above all, local wines.
