In the rustic and elegant atmosphere at our "See-Restaurant" and "See-Terrasse", or also at our attractive "Zirbelstueberl", our chef will spoil you with culinary delights, in particular from the Bavarian cuisine. Take a rest at the cosy Bavarian "Kaminzimmer" with magnificent view of lake and mountains. Or, relax in the evening with friends and a drink at the "Kaminbar". At our "See-Pavilion" we arrange your family celebrations and events to an unforgettable experience.

Please note that between the 07 and 13 December 2009, the swimming pool, sauna and jacuzzi will be closed for cleaning. They will be available again from the 14 December.

Area information The Yachthotel Chiemsee in Prien lies directly opposite the Herrenchiemsee island with its famous castle built by King Ludwig II. The hotel is just a few minutes' walk from the mooring point, from where you can take a boat trip round the island. The town of Prien is halfway between Munich and Salzburg. You can get to either city by train or using the A8 motorway. Travel information By car: From Munich (85 km): A8 Munich - Salzburg, exit Bernau / Prien am Chiemsee. At the roundabout turn right into direction Chiemsee / Hospital / Castle Herrenchiemsee From Airport Munich (125 km): A9 further on A99 and A8 Munich - Salzburg, exit Bernau / Prien am Chiemsee. At the roundabout turn right into direction Chiemsee / Hospital / Castle Herrenchiemsee From Airport Salzburg (60 km): direction Munich, freeway A8 Salzburg - Munich, exit Bernau / Prien am Chiemsee. At the roundabout turn right into direction Chiemsee / Hospital / Castle Herrenchiemsee By train: International and regional trains depart and arrive at the train station Prien. Accessible from Salzburg and Munich every hour. On request, we are pleased to organize a shuttle for you from one of the above mentioned airports or station.

If cancelled or modified up to 2 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged. If cancelled or modified later or in case of no-show, 80 percent of all nights will be charged.

Deposit Policy

No deposit will be charged.

VAT and city/tourist taxes

19 % VAT is included. Service charge is not applicable. EUR 1.50 city/tourist tax per person per night is not included.

Meal Plan

Buffet breakfast is included in the room rate. Breakfast costs EUR 5.50 per child under 7 years. Breakfast costs EUR 9.50 per child under 14 years.

Children and Extra Bed Policy

All children are welcome. All children under 12 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding. All children under 2 years stay free of charge for cots. There is no capacity for extra beds in the room. Maximum capacity of babycots in a room is 1.
