The residence is centrally situated in one of the most famous streets of Prague’s old town. The Republic Square is situated just a few steps away and there are excellent transport links with the nearest tram station 70 metres away, the underground station 150 metres away and the motorway 800 metres away. Such a convenient location is ideal for discovering the city, restaurants and shopping; there is a shopping centre, the Palladium, 150 metres away.
By Public Transport:
From the airport:
Take bus number 100 to the terminus: Zlicin.
From there, take the metro line B to the Namesti Republiky station and use the Namesti Republiky exit at the back of the train.
From there follow Revolucni Street and turn down the 1st street on the left, Dlouha Street.
The residence is the corner-house on the left.
The journey takes approximately 40 minutes and a ticket costs CZK 20.
Another possibility is to take a CEDAZ airport minibus that runs regularly between the airport and the Republic Square, Namesti Republiky.
From Wilson railway station/Hlavni Nadrazi main train station:
After exiting the hall, turn right and follow the park until you reach a tram stop.
Take the number 5 tram that goes left.
Exit at the 3rd stop: Revolucni.
Take the 1st street to the left, this is Dlouha Street.
The residence is the corner-house on the left.
The journey takes approximately 10 minutes and a one-way ticket costs CZK 14.
Holesovice railway station, Nadrazi Holesovice:
Take tram number 5.
After crossing the Vltava River, exit at the 1st stop in Revolucni Street.
Turn down the 1st street on the right, this is Dlouha Street.
The ride takes approximately 15 minutes and a ticket costs CZK 14.
By Car:
From the south, the D1 and E-65 motorways, Budapest, Vienna and Brno:
- After reaching Prague, continue on the D1.
- Drive through the Southern Housing Estates, following the signs for the centre, centrum.
- Drive between the Congress Hall on the left and Corinthia Towers Hotel on the right.
- Nuselsky Bridge takes you over the valley and after several crossings you will pass by the stately construction of the National Museum on your left.
- While still staying on the main highway going through the city, you will pass the main train station on your right.
- Then take the 2nd road to the right and leave the highway, following the signs for Stare Mesto, Old Town.
- Turn twice to the left while passing the Hilton hotel and underpass the highway using a tunnel.
- Before the next bridge, turn left at the lights.
- Then turn right and left again for Revolucni Street.
- At the 1st traffic lights, turn right down Dlouha Street.
- The residence is the corner-house on the left.
From the west, the D5 and E-50, Frankfurt am Main, Nürnberg and Plzen:
- Upon reaching Prague, follow the signs for the centre, centrum down Plzenska Street until you reach the river.
- Cross the river over the Jiraskuv Bridge and then turn left following the river.
- Pass the National Theatre, Charles Bridge, the Rudolfinum and the Hotel Intercontinental.
- Continue further along the river embankment, taking the Stefanikuv Bridge underpass and immediately turn right at the lights.
- Then turn right and left again to reach Revolucni Street.
- Then follow the instructions above.
From the north, the D8 and E-55 motorways, Berlin, Dresden and Usti nad Labem:
- Follow the motorway down the hill.
- After crossing the Vltava River for the 1st time, continue straight on following the signs for the centre, centrum.
- Drive down Argentinská Street, pass under a bridge and immediately turn right.
- After crossing the river for the 2nd time, pass the Hilton hotel on the left and take the 1st exit to the right to leave the motorway.
- Follow the main road that will take you to the river embankment and there turn left at the lights.
- Before the next bridge, turn left at the lights.
- Then turn right and left again to reach Revolucni Street.
- Then follow the instructions above.
