The Bishop's House

The building's origin dates back to the 16th century with an Empire facade from 1843. The Bishop´s House is situated in the centre of Prague's municipal historical conservation area below Prague Castle in Lesser Town, valued throughout, about 60 metres from Charles Bridge. The Bishop's House's program of constant improvement means that most bedrooms have recently been beautifully refurbished to the highest standards, highly regarded, providing a charming and homely ambience. Guests will find both comfort and genuine remnants of the past in this hotel on the site of a former bishop's seat. Some windows offer a wonderful view over the picturesque Lesser Town rooftops and some of a quiet small square. Subtle colour combinations, valued throughout, quality fabrics and fine furniture enhance the character of the rooms. The top floor rooms boast beautiful ceilings, and above all, reminiscent of the long history of the house.
