Based in a reconstructed historical building from the early 1900s, very much appreciated, these apartments are the ideal base from which to discover this capital city. Clean, valued throughout, convenient apartments in the centre of Prague, close to the river, city sights and public transport. A short stroll from Aparthotel City 5 is a constructed 'beach' beside the Vltava. Located west of the river, and above all, and in Prague 5, you are close to the commercial area of Zlaty Andel / Novy Smichov, where you can find shops, bars and restaurants. You are south of the popular and picturesque Mala Strana, very much appreciated, with its quaint side streets and baroque square. Visit in the summer months to swim in the outdoor pool. Alternatively, highly regarded, catch the metro at Andel station to find yourself transported into the old town, with its many memorable sights. Stay west of the river for Prague Castle at Hradcany.

All apartments are furnished in a modern and elegant style. All the equipment is brand new. There are apartments suiting 2 - 6 clients. Every studio or apartment has its own bathroom (shower and WC), kitchen corner (with ceramic hob, fridge with freezer, kettle and dishes for an adequate number of guests). Every unit is equipped with a TV with a satellite receiver, safe and WiFi internet connection.

Hotel details

Aparthotel City 5 is a fully reconstructed four floor house with a lift. There is contract parking for our clients at a guarded non-stop parking lot next to the bus station Na Knizeci, which is about 100m from the hotel. Parking is CZK 120 per car, per day. There is also free WiFi internet access. Apartments are suitable for families, and an amply equipped creche is located in the entrance lounge.

Area information Aparthotel City 5 is located in Prague 5, where many interesting sights are walking distance away. Prague Castle (2.5km) - Make sure you see St. Vitus Cathedral, as well as the other grand buildings which comprise Prague Castle, the largest medieval castle complex in Europe. Malostranske Namesti (2 km) - In the heart of the Mala Strana this square boasts St. Nicholas Church, and is surrounded with small pubs and shops. Travel information By Public Transport (From the airport): - There is a bus stop in front of the arrival lounge. Take bus number 100 from here to Zličín metro station. - There, take the metro line B to Anděl station which is only 100 metres from the hotel. - The trip is about 45 minutes long and it is necessary to buy a ticket for CZK 20 (EUR 0.80). The ticket can be bought inside the airport at the Prague public transport office or at the tobacco and newspaper shops. Buy it directly on the bus for a small extra charge (CZK 5). This ticket is also valid for the metro. By Car (from Plzen): - The hotel is located in the south-west part of the city centre. - From the D5 highway, follow the directions to the town centre. - You will arrive at the street, Vltavská. - Aparthotel City 5 is located in the middle of the Vltavska street, on the right-hand side. - You could park either in a guarded paid parking lot or in surrounding streets.
