Area information Prague, capital of the Czech Republic, is regarded as one of the most beautiful cities in the world and is known as the 'The City of a Hundred Spires'. The city is like a living baroque and medieval museum and has a historic old town centre with winding streets and amazing architecture, making it an ideal place to visit either for leisure or business. The majority of the visitor attractions in Prague are based around the centre of the city. Prague itself is a relatively small place and many of the attractions are within easy walking distance of the Boscolo Hotel Prague. The city also benefits from excellent public transport facilities, including a metro system. However, the best way to view the wonderful scenery in Prague is to take one of the frequent trams, particularly the one that runs from Vinohrady to Hradcany. Travel information The nearest metro station (lines B/C) is 250 meters from the hotel. The nearest tram station (9/14/3/24/5/26) is 250 meters from the hotel. The main train station is 250 meters from the hotel. Prague Ruzyne Airport (PRG) is located 12 miles north of Prague city centre and there are a number of car rental companies represented at the airport. The short journey to the city centre can be made by bus, taxi or rental car. It takes about 30 minutes by car to get from the airport to the hotel.
