Most of the hotel’s 130 spacious and comfortable rooms have a view of the Gunwharf Quays complex and some have views of the canal side of the development. Each of the bright, modern rooms is well appointed and well equipped, with all the modern comforts and facilities you need in a restful, relaxing base. Whether you are exploring the city and the region as a tourist, visiting the area on business or attending a conference, the comfortable, peaceful rooms provide a relaxing haven.

Hotel details

The hotel’s 2 modern meeting rooms feature comfort cooling and air conditioning, natural daylight and wireless LAN internet access. Secure underground car parking is located at the Gunwharf Quays complex and the hotel’s reception desk can validate guests’ parking tickets. Parking is free for the first 24 hours, with a charge for each additional 24-hour period thereafter. The car park is just a 3-minute walk from the hotel. The car park has lifts. Please note that dedicated disabled car parking spaces are available outside the hotel entrance, with a drop-off/pick-up facility by the front door.

Food & Beverages

Situated on the hotel’s first floor the bar and lounge area offer a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. The bar and lounge area is a great place to enjoy a drink with friends or colleagues or to relax in the evening after a hard day’s work or a long day spent exploring the city and the region. The breakfast area is also located in the lounge area and a complimentary continental breakfast is available each morning. An impressive range of cafes, restaurants and bars are located within the Gunwharf Quays complex. From restaurants offering fine dining to fast food outlets, the complex offers a broad spectrum of dining venues and eateries, along with a selection of great bars and cafes.

Check-In Information: Check-in time is 2.00pm. The hotel cannot guarantee requests for early check-in times. If an early check-in is required, please contact reception in advance in order to inform them of your estimated time of arrival. You can contact reception by telephone or via email, using the contact details supplied on your confirmation email. Pets: Pets are not allowed, but guide dogs are accepted.

Wireless internet is available in the entire hotel and costs GBP 6.50 per hour.

Private parking is possible on site and costs GBP 2.00 per day.

Cancellation Policy

If cancelled up to 16:00 on the date of arrival, no fee will be charged.  If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the first night will be charged. 

Deposit Policy

No deposit will be charged.

VAT is included.  Service charge is included.  City/tourist tax is included. 

Meal Plan

Continental breakfast is included in the room rate. 

Children and Extra Bed Policy

All children are welcome.  All children under 4 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.  All children under 2 years stay free of charge for cots.  All children under 18 years stay free of charge for extra beds.  All older children or adults are charged GBP 15.00 per night and person for extra beds.  Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 1.
