Area information The Engadin offers unique possibilities for individual holidays. The region is ideal for sports and relaxing in the stunning surroundings. The bus stops, the tourist information, the ice skating place, the ski and snowboard school as well as the biggest mountain climbing school of Switzerland and many shops are located nearby. Travel information Pontresina is located between Zürich, Milano and Munich and can be reached by train, car or by plane. By car: Easily accessible via Switzerland, Italy, Germany and Austria. Please note that you need a vignette for the motorways in Switzerland. The vignette is available in service stations or the post office. By train: For the journey to Chur you can take the SBB (Schweizerischen Bundesbahn). From Chur take the modern express train RhB (Rhätische Bahn) via various tunnels and viaducts. You can use the fly-luggage service to travel more easily by train. The journey from Zürich to Pontresina takes about 3 and a quater hours.
