Stylish and comfortable, the superb restaurant has a smart interior, crisp white napkins and a varied menu that changes regularly to reflect the finest, freshest produce available locally. The menu offers fine food, including an ever-changing range of meats, fish, pastas, risottos and vegetables. The restaurants fine setting and warm, relaxed and friendly atmosphere means that it is suitable for all occasions: a romantic dinner for two, a reunion with friends, family celebration or a private function for up to 60 people. Diners may enjoy pre-dinner drinks and after-dinner coffees in one of the large comfortable armchairs. In the warmer months, you can make the most of the long, warm summer evenings on the garden terrace. The bar offers a relaxed and inviting atmosphere with comfortable sofas, a selection of speciality beers and an extensive wine list. You can enjoy a morning coffee, an afternoon tea or even a light lunch, whilst appreciating the fine views of Devon countryside. The intimate coffee lounge is the ideal retreat from the hustle and bustle of city life.

At weekends, breakfast is served from 08:00 until 10:00.

Area information St Elizabeths House is situated in the beautiful and traditional village of Plympton, on the outskirts of Plymouth. To the north of the village lies the breathtaking natural beauty of the Dartmoor National Park. Local historic sites include Buckland Abbey and Plymptons own Saltram House; one of Britains best-preserved examples of a Georgian house. Plymouth has a wide range of activities on offer, including the National Marine Aquarium, the Theatre Royal, the Plymouth City Museum and Art Gallery, the Plymouth Pavilions and several cinemas, shopping centres and sports arenas. Travel information By car: From the A38 (East) - Exit the A38 at the B3416. - At the end of the exit, turn right at Deep Lane. - Follow this road until you reach a roundabout, and take the 1st exit onto Ridgeway. - Turn left at New Park Road and bear left at Waggon Hill onto Longcause. - Turn left at the T-junction onto George Lane. - Turn left at the end onto Longbrook Street, and the hotel will be on your left. Parking: Parking is available on-site at the hotel, free of charge.
