Area information In the immediate vicinity you can find the municipal park, amusement park "Syratal" (miniature golf, zoo...) and "Barenstein" Tower (look-out). Discover the state quadrangle Bohemia, Bavaria, Thuringia and Saxony with Europe's unique public transport net "Egronet": train, bus, tram and only one ticket for 6000 stops. Comfortable connections from Plauen to ski resorts in the "Upper Vogtland" area are fast and cheap. Other highlights in the surroundings: Goltzschtalbrucke (largest brick bridge in the world) or Pohl dam. Several fortresses, visitor mines, museums and scenic hiking areas are waiting to be discovered.
