The hotel can offer you single, double and triple rooms, with extra beds for children. Rooms with balconies offer a view of the sea, others of Tartini Square and some of the town walls. Room sizes range from 13 to 20 square metres. The rooms can be accessed by lift. You can also opt for a suite, offering peace and quiet with an intimate ambience. The suites also feature their own terrace with an exclusive view of Piran and the bay, as well as the beautifully lit Tartini Square in the evening.

The hotel is located in the heart of the town, overlooking the splendid Tartini Square on one side and the sea on the other. The hotel offers its own terrace, a modern, well-equipped self-service breakfast room, an à la carte restaurant, and a coffee room where fine cappuccinos are served. There is also a hall with audio-visual equipment for seminars, business meetings and weddings. Enjoy free entrance to the casino in Portorož. There are tennis courts, sauna, a gym, a beauty and a massage parlour nearby.

Food & Beverages

The hotel includes the Tartini Coffee House, serving various types of delicious coffee, hot drinks and refreshing beverages in a pleasant atmosphere. In nice weather, you will be able to enjoy the terrace overlooking Tartini Square, which is the venue of many delightful and entertaining events during the tourist season. In the summer, the terrace serves quick light dishes or vegetarian meals, and you are invited to the Altana terrace to enjoy your food calmly at social evenings. The chefs will prepare delicious Mediterranean dishes and the hotel recommends the traditional Istrian cuisine from days gone by.

Parking for hotel guests is available at a discounted charge (payable at the hotel reception desk) on the central parking in front of the town centre, though the hotel can be reached by car to check in and unload the luggage. There is a free mini bus / shuttle commuting between the parking and the hotel (Tartini Square) regularly.

Cancellation Policy

If cancelled up to 1 day before the date of arrival, no fee will be charged.  If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the first night will be charged. 

Deposit Policy

No deposit will be charged. 

VAT and city/tourist taxes

20 % VAT is included.  Service charge is not applicable.  EUR 1.01 city/tourist tax per person per night is not included. 

Meal Plan

Buffet breakfast is included in the room rate. 

Children and Extra Bed Policy

All children are welcome.  All children under 4 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.  All children under 2 years are charged EUR 5.00 per night and person for cots.  All older children or adults are charged EUR 23.00 per night and person for extra beds.  Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 2.
