There are attractive lounges and 47 comfortable rooms, as well as the reception area, where you will find fresh flowers and elegant, comfortable furnishings. The hotel’s Lake View Restaurant has recently been awarded an AA Rosette for the outstanding preparation of its food and the good quality of the ingredients it uses. The Ramblers Bar, set in the hotel's grounds, offers traditional Lakeland hospitality, alongside real ale and good food. The hotel operates a 2-night minimum stay policy on weekends.

The inn’s head chef produces inspirational dishes with a strong emphasis on local produce. You can gaze at the splendid scenery just outside the window in the AA Rosette-winning lakeside restaurant, or eat in The Ramblers Bar in the grounds, which serves real ale and good traditional food.

Hotel policies

Cancellation Policy

If cancelled up to 2 days before date of arrival, a fixed amount of GBP 80.00 will be charged.  If cancelled later, the first night will be charged.  In case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged. 

Deposit Policy

A fixed amount of GBP 80 per room will be charged on the day of booking and is non-refundable. 

VAT and city/tourist taxes

15 % VAT is included.  Service charge is not applicable.  City/tourist tax is not applicable. 

Meal Plan

Full English breakfast is included in the room rate. 

Children and Extra Bed Policy

All children are welcome.  All children under 1 year stay free of charge when using existing bedding.  All children under 2 years are charged GBP 5.00 per night and person for cots.  All older children or adults are charged GBP 15.00 per night and person for extra beds.  Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 2.
