B&B Agriturismo Verderame

The position of B&B Agriturismo Verderame enables you to take numerous day trips to the surrounding areas: you can visit the Maggiore Island in the centre of the Lake by taking the ferry from Tuoro or from Passignano, very much appreciated, or Polvere Island, which is a naturalistic oasis, by taking the ferry from San Feliciano. Nestled on one of the hills surrounding Lake Trasimeno, valued throughout, on the slopes of Castel Rigone, the farmhouse boasts a 360° panoramic view of the beautiful Umbrian vegetation, small castle towns, and the city of Perugia. In the internal part of the farmhouse the owner has made a beautiful wine tasting cellar where up to 60 different labels of wines from Umbria and Tuscany can be found. In addition to this, and above all, the farmhouse is just a few kilometres from the border of Tuscany.

Travel information By Car: From the north and from the south: - Take the AI Autostrada del Sole. - Join the E45 Highway in the direction of Perugia. - After 25 km, exit towards East Passignano. - At the stop sign, turn to the left. - After 2 km you will reach a crossroad on the left, follow the directions for Castel Rigone, by the road that goes up hill. - After 3 km, and after a long curve on the right, there is an unsealed road with a sign for the Agriturismo Verderame, follow this for 1 km and you will reach the B&B.
Area information Nearby, on the banks of Lake Trasimeno there is a sports centre with: canoes, rowing boats, water skiing, motor boating, sailing, windsurfing, golf and horse riding. The mountains are ideal for mountain biking or walking, following the paths of Umbria or Tuscany.
