Area information Hotel Residenz is an ideal starting point for your excursions and activities in and around Passau. Located in the old town and at the Danube shore, you can reach in a few minutes the most important historical and cultural highlights such as the "Domschatz and Diözesan" Museum in the residence of the bishop, the great city hall, the city theater, Passau's Glass Museum, the Museum of the Modern "Foundation Wörlen", the Fort Boiotro and many more... Shop in Passau's old town and enjoy the flair of the "Bavarian Venice". Arts and culture, past and present, melt together in the historical city of Passau. The boats travelling the Danube anchor directly in front of the hotel. The landing stage of the river cruise ships are a stone's throw away from the hotel. Travel information From the north via Highway A3 (Autobahn Regensburg-Passau): Exit Passau-Nord. Follow the river Danube until you see the 1. Bridge. Cross the bridge, on the bridge take the left lane, after 3.8 km following the river again you will arrive at the Hotel Residenz. From the south via Highway A3 (Autobahn Linz-Suben-Passau): Exit Passau Mitte, follow the sign Passau-Stadtmitte (don't cross the river Danube). The river is now on your left hand side and after 3.8 km you will arrive at the Hotel Residenz.

Hotel policies

Cancellation Policy

If cancelled up to 1 day before the date of arrival, no fee will be charged. If cancelled later, 80 percent of the first night will be charged. In case of no-show, 80 percent of all nights will be charged.

Deposit Policy

No deposit will be charged.

VAT is included. Service charge is included. City/tourist tax is not applicable.

Children and Extra Bed Policy

All children are welcome. All children under 6 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding. All children under 2 years stay free of charge for cots.
