Area information

The town of Osterode is beautifully located between Lake Sösestausee, the southern Harz Mountains and the sunny Lerchbach Valley. The charming old town is surrounded by a well-preserved city wall. It awaits you with picturesque small lanes, beautiful half-timbered houses, churches, and a traffic-free pedestrian zone. Even when it comes to culture and tradition the town of Osterode has lots to offer, with its many museums and various market places. People looking for recreation and hikers look forward to a unique landscape. Especially the famous Hexenstieg hiking trail shows the Harz region from its best side.

Cancellation Policy

If cancelled or modified up to 18:00 on the date of arrival, no fee will be charged.  If cancelled or modified later or in case of no-show, 80 percent of all nights will be charged. 

Deposit Policy

No deposit will be charged. 

VAT and city/tourist taxes

19 % VAT is included.  Service charge is not applicable.  City/tourist tax is included. 

Meal Plan

Buffet breakfast is included in the room rate. 

Children and Extra Bed Policy

All children are welcome.  All children under 3 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.  All children under 2 years stay free of charge for cots.  All older children or adults stay free of charge for extra beds.  Maximum capacity of extra beds in a room is 1.  Maximum capacity of babycots in a room is 2.
