Area information The Canal du Midi is 20 km away from the hotel. It is a 240-km long canal in the south of France. The canal connects the Garonne River to the Étang de Thau on the Mediterranean. It runs from the city of Toulouse down to the Mediterranean port of Sète. It is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Carcassonne is 40 km away from the hotel. It is a fortified French town separated into the fortified Cité de Carcassonne and the more expansive lower city, the ville basse. The fortress, which was thoroughly restored in 1853 by the theorist and architect Eugène Viollet-le-Duc, was added to the UNESCO list of World Heritage Sites in 1997. The Cathar castles (50 km away), designate the series of fortresses built by the French king on the southern frontier of his lands at the end of the Albigensian Crusade. You will also find numerous vineyards in the surrounding area. Travel information Located in Languedoc-Roussillon, in the heart of the Corbières vineyards, the hotel is 15 minutes from Narbonne and 10 minutes from Lézignan-Corbières (motorways A9 and A61) and 20 minutes from the Canal du Midi. 80 minutes from Montpellier and Toulouse airports 40 minutes from Perpignan, Béziers and Carcassonne airports near to the railway stations at Narbonne (Motorail) and Lézignan-Corbières
