Area information The village of Saigerhütte boasts charming timber-framed buildings, moats, mills, and historic castle walls. The Ore Mountains’ extensive hiking trails offer something for all sports fans and nature lovers. Make sure to visit the health resort and toy-producing village of Seiffen (8 km), the mining town of Freiberg (30 km), and the old quarter of Annaberg-Buchholz (35 km). Travel information By car: Exit the A4 / A72 motorway at Chemnitz and continue on route B174 towards Marienberg. Proceed on route B170 towards Olbernhau. In Olbernhau, follow the signs to the hotel. By train: From Chemnitz’s main railway station, take the Erzgebirgsbahn (Ore Mountains railway line) to Olbernhau/Grünthal.
