From Hof on the A72 motorway: - Exit for Chemnitz Süd, towards Chemnitz. - Take the B174 towards Zschopau and Marienberg. - Once in Marirenberg take the B171 towards Olbernhau. From Leipzig on the A14 motorway: - Exit for Nossen Nord on the B101 towards Nossen. From Dresden on the A4 motorway: - Exit for Siebenlehn, then take the B101 towards Freiberg and Annaberg - At the end of Großhartmannsdorf turn left towards Obersayda, Olbernhau.
Area information The famous "toy village" Seiffen is about 7 km from Olbernhau offering many shops and specialties of the Erz Mountains - art, show rooms, an open-air museum and a summer toboggan run. There are also a lot of shops in Olbernhau where you can buy regional handcraft - candle holders, musical boxes, nutcrackers and more.
