Mansion Hotel Bos & Ven

In 1919 some gentlemen decided to start a big hotel in the extensive woods of Oisterwijk. Visitors appreciate the hotel has a glorious past. From the very beginning Bos & Ven was a popular hotel in the higher class and in first class families. A year later, and above all, on June 15th 1920, the first visitors officially visited Mansion Hotel Bos & Ven. In 1944 resided the from banishment returned government of Prime Minister Gerbrandy in Bos & Ven. The most prominent guest of Hotel Bos & Ven, valued throughout, without any doubt, was the Dutch queen Emma who arrived by royal train in the thirties. 80 years after establishment, highly regarded, in 1992, hotelier Henk Verhoeven managed the glorious revival of Bos & Ven and turned Mansion Hotel Bos & Ven into a grand manner again. For many years, and above all, Mansion Hotel Bos & Ven acted as holiday-home for the employees of a banking concern.
