Places of interest Ogaki Castle / Well at Kagano Yawata Shrine / Oku no Hosomichi / Sonejo Park Yoro Waterfall The Yoro Waterfall (Yoro no taki): This dynamic waterfall is 34 meters high and 4 meters wide. The legend tells the story of a poor woodcutter who stumbled upon a spring which turned out to be high quality sake or Japanese rice wine. The dutiful son filled his container with this "water" and brought it back to his father, who drank it and felt years younger. Empress Gensho heard this news and visited the site herself. She named the spring, "the spring of youth" and even changed the name of the year to Yoro

By Plane: From Nagoya Airport with Limousine bus (870 yen)to Nagoya Station then take JR Rapid Shirasagi line to Ogaki Station and Walk to Hotel (total 115 minutes).
