The magnificent 17th century estate Oud-Poelgeest is conveniently situated 10 minutes from the centre of Leiden, valued throughout, between Amsterdam and The Hague and about 15 minutes from Schiphol Airport. Breakfast buffet is in the restaurant in the former coach house. The bar in the castle basement with terrace near by the pond is available to enjoy a drink. The surroundings of Oegstgeest offer the tourist an interesting palette of possibilities: historic city of Leiden, valued throughout, boat trips Dutch lake district, bulb fields, which is Keukenhof,, cycle tours and North Sea beach, which is 20 minutes, .

Travel information Kasteel Oud-Poelgeest situated on the west side of the city of Leyden, in the village Oegstgeest, 10 minutes from Leyden Central Station (taxi or bus). Leyden Central Station can be reached by train form the Airport Schiphol in 15 minutes. Or by car via the A44, exit no. 6.
