We offer individual furnished rooms, highly regarded, honeymoon rooms and our Buure rooms. Our house comes with the rustic Black Forest- restaurant with its tiled stove. The village Oberried is just 15 minutes away from Freiburg.

Food & Beverages

The dining room, with seats 50, is cosily furnished in traditional Black Forest style and decorated with carefully chosen antigues and bric-a-brac from the area. Sitting there one has the feeling that those good old Black Forest days are still very much alive. The honest and down-to-earth approach of the chef, Bernd Maier, and his team, enable them to conjure for their guests delicious dishes for which only fresh local produce is used.

Address Hauptstrasse 58 79254 Oberried		Travel information By car: Take the A5 motorway, exit "Freiburg Mitte". Follow the B31 through Freiburg following signs to Donaueschingen (Titisee-Neustadt) until you come to the exit Oberried-Kirchzarten (the second exit after the tunnel). Follow directions to Oberried and then drive into the village of Oberried past the Church and after about 300 metres you will find the "Goldener Adler" on your righthand side.
Area information Enjoy this special corner of Germany known as the "dreiländereck" - the three corner country, where France, Switzerland and Germany touch one another. This is one of the most fascinating parts of Europe. Countryside wise, culturally and sport wise and with such diversity in its cuisine. There are so many possibilities for different excursions: Lake Constance, Alsace with Colmar and Strasbourg, Switzerland with Basel, the Rhine waterfall at Schaffhausen or further afield Lucerne and Tessin.

If cancelled up to 1 day before the date of arrival, no fee will be charged. If cancelled later, 80 percent of the first night will be charged. In case of no-show, 80 percent of all nights will be charged.
