Hotel details

Letterfinlay Lodge Hotel is a former hunting lodge. The lodge first started trading in 1957 to cater for shooting parties and over the years since it has traded as a hotel welcoming many guests and celebrities. Since the current owners purchased the hotel in January 2007, much care has been taken to restore and enhance the hotel's features and facilities. Letterfinlay Lodge Hotel is now graded AA 3 stars. The residents’ lounge offers a cosy option for relaxation after your day’s adventure. You can be taken out on one of the speed boats for an exhilarating ride across the loch.

The best local produce is used to create indulgent menus. Enjoy the panoramic views across Loch Lochy. In the popular Osprey lounge, wine bar and sun deck there is always ‘craic’ to be had. Area information There is something for everyone in Lochaber. Letterfinlay Lodge is located in ‘the outdoor capital of the UK’ and is surrounded by mountains and lochs. Enjoy skiing, snowboarding and taking a trip on the famous steam train to Mallaig. When at the hotel, watch out for the ospreys. Nesting in a top-secret location, they make a magnificent sight when swooping over Loch Lochy. Travel information By Car: - Letterfinlay Lodge Hotel is situated between Speanbridge and Invergarry on the A82 overlooking Loch Lochy. By Public Transport: The nearest bus route is Inverness to Fort William, with a stop outside the hotel. The nearest train station is Speanbridge (6 miles) from where there are direct routes across Britain.
