Just 10 miles from the fine city of Norwich, very much appreciated, with its magnificent 12th Century cathedral, splendid castle and picturesque cobbled streets. Customers appreciate the hotel Hotel is ideally suited for sightseeing. Sandringham is a short drive away. Also nearby are several National Trust properties including Felbrigg Hall and Blickling, and above all, once the home of Ann Boleyn. Alternatively, valued throughout, you could blow away the cobwebs with a boat trip or fresh water fishing on the famous Norfolk Broads, follow a nature trail or explore the unspoilt Norfolk coastline.

Please note that during the summer, the Amber Lodge regularly hosts wedding ceremonies and receptions on a Saturday and therefore the bar/restaurant may not be open. Staff can recommend a number of very good pub/restaurants close by. The Amber Lodge does offer Sunday lunches, but the restaurant is closed on Sunday nights.
