The seven historic buildings of Hotel Schere have affectionately been refurbished and transformed into a 4-star hotel. The origin of Hotel Schere goes back to the Medieval Ages when the location was being used as an inn for tailors. Hotel Schere has an own restaurant renowned for its excellent cuisine, valued throughout, a hotel bar, and an underground parking garage.

Area information The town of Northeim is an ideal golf location, offering two excellent golf resorts in direct proximity. In only a few driving minutes you reach the 9-hole golf club in Immensen or the 18-hole golf club in Levershausen. Furthermore, the hotel is suitable for visitors of the exhibition centre in Hanover. With its direct train connection the exhibition centre can easily be reached from the Northeim main station within minutes. Upon request, Hotel Schere can arrange a shuttle service for you.

Cancellation Policy

If cancelled or modified up to 18:00 on the date of arrival, no fee will be charged. If cancelled or modified later or in case of no-show, 80 percent of all nights will be charged.

Deposit Policy

No deposit will be charged.

VAT and city/tourist taxes

19 % VAT is included. Service charge is not applicable. City/tourist tax is not applicable.

Meal Plan

Buffet breakfast is included in the room rate.

Children and Extra Bed Policy

All children are welcome. All children under 3 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding. All children under 2 years are charged EUR 10.00 per night and person for cots. All older children or adults are charged EUR 15.00 per night and person for extra beds. Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 2.
