Area information Bottingen is a small, tranquil wine-producing village with 300 inhabitants. It lies close to the Kaiserstuhl hills in the Rhine Valley. Nearby attractions include Freiburg, Alsace, the Black Forest and the theme park "Europapark Rust". Switzerland and the city of Basel can be reached in just one hour from here. Due to its mild climate, the region has been named the "German Tuscany". Travel information Coming from the motorway A5 (Basel-Karlsruhe): - Take exit Nr.60 (Teningen) and continue along for 1 km towards Nimburg. - Pass the village of Nimburg and carry on for another 800 metres. - Turn right at the bus stop at the sign of Bottingen. Our hotel is situated after 50 metres on the right. Railway station Nimburg, Kaiserstuhlbahn is 1.5 km from the hotel. Railway station Emmendingen (Deutsche Bahn) is 6 km.
