Mercure Utrecht/Nieuwegein offers a choice of 2 roomtypes: Standard rooms Comfortable double room (also for single use) with 2 seperate beds or a Kingsize bed. They offer our guests every comfort they may expect from a 4 star hotel, such as: Bathroom with bath, shower and toilet, desk, table with 2 chairs, minibar, telephone, television with pay tv, modem connection (several rooms have also wireless internet), safe and complimentary coffee & tea facilities. Superior Room Comfortable Double Room with a Kingsize bed located on the backside of the hotel offers all the facilities of the standard room with a luxurious touch. Extra amenities in the bathroom, a trouserpress, bathrobe & bathslippers and complimentary bottle of mineral water and fresh fruit are at your disposal.

Mercure Hotel Utrecht/Nieuwegein is conveniently located on the outskirts of Nieuwegein, close to the A2 motorway. The 77 rooms offer every comfort you would expect from a 4-star hotel. The staff offers you easy access to the magnificent city of Utrecht. They will help you with any details to make your stay even more enjoyable. The city of Utrecht, with its inextricable combination of rich past and dynamic present, is a truly unique place to visit. A friendly and safe city in the heart of Holland. Where else can one find the tallest and finest church tower in the country? The Dom is a landmark over 600 years old, which greets you at every turn. There is also the Hoog Catharijne, the country's largest indoor shopping centre, situated near to the Dom. Capable of welcoming 6 to 1,500 people, you will find the hotel's meeting rooms mostly suited for organising meetings, seminars, dinners and presentations. Even specialised exhibitions are easily hosted. Parking facilities are available for 650 cars. After a busy day, you can relax by taking a swim or blowing off steam in the sauna. It is all possible in the relaxation centre of the hotel. Please note that the entire hotel is non-smoking.

Food & Beverages

The 'Zilver' restaurant offers superb food, accompanied by the specially selected 'Grands Vins Mercure'. You are welcome to try one of the bartender's famous cocktails in the cosy bar, and the hotel serves some typical Dutch snacks in the coffee shop.

Wireless internet is available in the hotel rooms and costs EUR 5.95 per hour.

Cancellation Policy

If cancelled up to 18:00 on the date of arrival, no fee will be charged.  If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the first night will be charged. 

Deposit Policy

No deposit will be charged. 

VAT and city/tourist taxes

VAT is included.  Service charge is included.  City/tourist tax is not applicable. 

Meal Plan

Buffet breakfast is not included and costs EUR 16.00 per person. 

Children and Extra Bed Policy

All children are welcome.  All children under 12 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.  All children under 2 years stay free of charge for cots.  All older children or adults are charged EUR 15.00 per night and person for extra beds.  Maximum capacity of total guests in a room is 3.
