The Holiday Inn Newcastle is set amid 18 acres of land and is conveniently located at the A1/A19 junction. Only 9.5 km (6 miles) north of Newcastle's vibrant city centre, the hotel also sits close to Newcastle International Airport, the Tyne Tunnel and the North Sea Ferry Terminal. The hotel has recently had most of its rooms modernised and refurbished. Standard double or twin rooms are offered, suitable for single guests, couples or families. The hotel is fully non-smoking throughout, with designated smoking areas available outside the premises. All rates include full use of the leisure club, as well as VAT and service. Free overnight car parking is available to guests when resident in the hotel.

For informal meetings or catch-ups throughout the day, you will find our Holiday Inn Lounge is perfect. Comfortable, informal surroundings. All day snacks and refreshments. Sofas with integrated work stations and modem points. Our bar and lounge area offers snacks and light meals all day from 11:00 until 23:00.

Cancellation Policy

If cancelled up to 2 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged.  If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the first night will be charged.

No deposit will be charged. 

VAT and city/tourist taxes

15 % VAT is included.  Service charge is not applicable.  City/tourist tax is not applicable. 

Meal Plan

Full English breakfast is not included, breakfast menu is available and costs vary. 

Children and Extra Bed Policy

All children are welcome.  One child under 19 years stays free of charge when using existing bedding.  There is no capacity for extra beds/cots in the room.
