The rooms are adorned with pop-nuevo style furnishings which are striking against the black and gray palette of the the marble and checkered carpet. Each room features custom lighting, and the now legendary gilt framed headboards, most depicting images from famous Vermeer paintings. Rooms include beds with 3 Egyptian cotton sheets, down pillows and down comfortors.

Open from early morning for breakfast, the restaurant also serves lunch and dinner with an Italian accent. The adjacent Library Bar is likewise low-key. The Library Bar- Beautiful mahogany walls lined with inviting white sofas draped with soft throws are accented by warm lighting. Above the bar's mahogany bar stools is a high shelf with a handpicked selection of antique and contemporary books. The Library Bar is open until midnight. The Paramount Bar- "Selflessness is the highest achievement" and "moderation kills the spirit" are among the witticisms of graffiti scribbled onto the black chalkboard walls of the Paramount Bar.
