La Barranca Hotel is located on the Eastern side of the Regional Park of Cuenca Alta del Manzanares. The flora of the area also includes holm oak trees, bush, rockrose, lavender, rosemary, thyme and blackberries. The beauty of places such as La Presa del Chiquillo (dam), Sendas de Los Almochones (walking routes), Fuente de la Campanilla (fountain), Miradores de La Barranca o la Cuerda de las Cabrillas (mountainous areas) make it that best place to carry out nature related activities. This mountain hut is only 30 minutes away from Madrid (through the N-VI or the M-607) and 40 minutes away from the airport of Madrid-Barajas.
