Its 131 spacious rooms are classic in style, offering every sort of comfort and technological convenience. The terraces of the top-floor rooms and the suites command an admirable view of the city’s magnificent panorama: the port, Vesuvius, the majestic Museo di San Martino and Castel Sant’Elmo. The rooms fall into two categories: Standard and Superior, for those who previous roomier quarters.

The hotel has set aside ample space for meetings: eight modernly equipped, well-designed rooms are suitable for meetings of any kind, whether for conferences or other activities, up to a maximum of 300 persons. The versatility of its rooms and the high quality of services have also made the Grand Hotel Oriente a reference point for business meetings, seminars, conferences and conventions. The variable geometry of the exhibition – meeting area allows rooms of 30 to 240 sqm., situated on the first floor and, partly, on the top floor of the building, which provides a stunning view of the city.

Food & Beverages

Delicious in a soft pastel pink, the hotel’s Oriente restaurant welcomes guests in its large dining room on the first floor. The kitchen, very attentive to the quality of its ingredients and the lightness of its recipes, offers an impressive menu. Mediterranean tradition and skilful creativity combine with the pleasantness of friendly, conscientious service. The wine list is limited but has a very good selection of regional wines. The Grand Hotel Oriente restaurant is open year round during the following hours: Buffet Breakfast: 07.00 a.m. - 10.30 a.m. Lunch: 0.30 p.m. – 03.00 p.m. Dinner: 07.30 p.m. – 11.00 p.m. It’s closed on Saturdays and Sunday. The red of the Oriente dominates the lounge bar, blending into the lobby of this centrally located hotel, lively like the cheerful, bustling city in which it is located. Secluded little rooms and a large bar for a pleasant break in the heart of the city. There is a grand piano for special occasions and themed evenings. The lounge bar is open year round during the following hours: 10.30 a.m. – 12.00 p.m.

Wireless internet is available in the entire hotel and costs EUR 5.00 per hour.

Private parking is possible on site and costs EUR 19.00 per day.

Cancellation Policy

If cancelled up to 2 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged.  If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the first night will be charged. 

Deposit Policy

No deposit will be charged. 

VAT and city/tourist taxes

VAT is included.  Service charge is included.  City/tourist tax is not applicable. 

Meal Plan

American breakfast is included in the room rate. 

Children and Extra Bed Policy

All children are welcome.  All children under 12 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.  All children under 2 years stay free of charge for cots.  All older children or adults are charged EUR 25.00 per night and person for extra beds.  Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 2.
