Rooms

The Covenanters' Inn offers 14 comfortable bedrooms (double, twin, triple and family rooms) all with en-suite facilities, colour TV, direct-dial telephone and central heating. One bedroom has been adapted for disabled guests. All rooms are on the ground floor. As from 26th March 2006, smoking is not permitted inside The Covenanters Inn. If a guest has been smoking in a bedroom, we reserve the right to charge a cleaning fee of £50.

Additional info not included elsewhere: After eating, why not enjoy a dram at the bar or sit in the conservatory and watch the sunset. The conservatory (non smoking) is the perfect quiet setting for reading, writing your postcards or surfing the Internet. We are members of The Highlands of Scotland Tourist Board and have been awarded the Welcome Host certificate. The Covenanters Inn has been awarded 3 stars by the Scottish Tourist Board.

Food & Beverages

The Covenanters' Inn is renowned for its variety of good food cooked using local produce. The Eren Restaurant provides a more formal dining atmosphere, mainly used for special occasions and parties. Breakfast is also served here. The Kiln Lounge Bar (recently refurbished) offers excellent food in historic surroundings (see sample menu below). It is situated in the 'mill' section of the building. During its refurbishment, the old beams were exposed and now the actual kiln and some of the original workings are open to view. CHRISTMAS AT THE COVENANTERS Escape turkey at The Covenanters! On Christmas day, breakfast is served (after Santa has visited Claire and Laura), the bar is then open from 12 till 2pm (only packed lunches available)and the bar then reopens at 7pm for drinks and evening meals. Hours all back to norm on Boxing Day BRINGING IN THE NEW YEAR AT THE COVENANTERS Entertainment is what you, the guests, want it to be with no formal dinners and dances . The Harrison family will ensure that you bring in the New Year in a friendly relaxed atmosphere with both kids and adults. And don't forget, you will be able to take in the beauty and tranquility of the Moray Firth and Scottish Highlands.
