The Covenanters Inn is situated in an ideal location for exploring Inverness, Loch Ness, Forres, Findhorn, Elgin, Kinloss, Lossiemouth, Aviemore, Carrbridge and Grantown (plus many other Highland, Moray and Speyside attractions). Cawdor and Brodie Castle, Fort George, Culloden Battlefield and the Malt Whisky Trail – all just a stone’s throw away. Flights
British Airways (London Gatwick, Edinburgh, Glasgow and Scottish islands), Easyjet (London Gatwick and London Luton), BMI (London Heathrow) and Eastern Airways (Manchester and Birmingham) all operate daily flights to Inverness Airport. Aberdeen Airport is serviced by British Airways, Ryanair, British Midland, KLM and many other airlines.
Train
There are regular daily trains from London and Glasgow/Edinburgh to Inverness and to Aberdeen. Nairn railway station is on the main line between Inverness and Aberdeen. It is just a short taxi or bus ride from there to the Inn.
Coach
We are on the main bus route between Inverness and Aberdeen. Buses run every 20 minutes during the day and there is a bus stop outside the Inn. Coach connections are available to Edinburgh and Glasgow via Inverness.
Car Rental
Vehicles can be hired at Inverness and Aberdeen (from the railway stations, airports or city centre). It is advisable to book in advance.
