The breakfast room is decorated with old agricultural artifacts, statues and ceramics. Area information Situated on the top of a hill, this hotel has a spectacular location between fortified towns. Visible for kilometres around, with the walls, the castle and the towers of the church appearing in unexpected angles whenever the road changes direction, Monsaraz will awaken your imagination. The feeling of antiquity prevails still in the fields around where there are many dolmens (funeral cameras) and menires (symbols of fertility). As for the town, it evokes still a medieval period with its low whitewashed houses and brown/yellow stone castle.
