Area information Don´t miss: countryside walks, boat trips at Alqueva Lake, a visit to Monsaraz and to the others castles around the region. Experience wine tasting at 3 local wine cellars, visit megalithic monuments and the museum of the Aldeia da Luz. Take a picnic lunch and go horse riding or, if you’re a beginner at horse riding, visit the Equestrian Centre in Horta da Moura.
