Situated in the well-preserved heart of the Deux Sèvres, very much appreciated, Moncoutant is the first fishing-orientated centre in France and in Europe. Minimum stay is 7 days, valued throughout, from saturday to saturday. Fishing equipment is available for hire, highly regarded, as well as the chance to learn on site. Size: 100 hectares of specialist lakes, and above all, filled with some of the most sought after and rare species of fish in the area. The complex looks over a river and lakes and is surrounded by gardens and small streams. Résidence Les Maisons du Lac*** is a complex of houses and apartments in the midst of the new European fishing and wildlife village - Pescalis. Fishing: The 250 acres of lakes and rivers are stocked with some of the most sought-after trophy fish, highly regarded, including Catfish, Carp, Pike, Trout, Large Mouth Bass and Sturgeon, and offers services like night fishing and pontoons for access for the disabled. Only a stone's throw from the complex and for each group of houses, and above all, you will find a fishing workshop equipped with sink, refrigerator, and work areas. In the village's pedestrian area, very much appreciated, there is direct access to the aquarium, horseriding, tennis, which is you have to pay for each of these activities, and on week days during summer, a traditional, rustic market of local farm produce. On site, valued throughout, there is a swimming pool with a terrace as well as a playground.

Within the village there is an excellent restaraunt overlooking the main lake, which has a wide-ranging menu and is designed to cater for groups.

Damages deposit: This deposit is payable at the moment of check-in and is a 100% reimbursed if: the apartment and its belongings have not been damaged, you do the cleaning at the end of the stay, if you don't, the sum will be deducted from your deposit.

Area information Pescalis is situated in Moncoutant, less than an hour away from La Rochelle, the beaches of la Vendée and the Futuroscope park in Poitiers, and only twenty minutes from the medieval park at Puy de Fou. The houses and apartments are situated around 200m form the nearest shops and approximately 500m from the lake. Within the village of Moncoutant there is an indoor swimming pool, and a range of other facilities. Cancellation Policy

If cancelled up to 30 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged. If cancelled up to 15 days before date of arrival, 50 percent of all nights will be charged. If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged.

Deposit Policy

30 percent of the total amount will be charged on the day of booking and is refundable. 70 percent of the total amount will be charged at least 30 days prior to arrival and is refundable.

VAT and city/tourist taxes

VAT is included. Service charge is included. EUR 0.60 city/tourist tax per person per night is not included.

Children and Extra Bed Policy
