Ideally placed near Mirepoix, valued throughout, a beautiful medieval town, in the heart of the Cathar country, the Auberge du Balestié is owned and run by an English family who warmly welcome you to this peaceful corner of Ariège just 35 kms from Carcassonne. NON-SMOKING ROOMS ONLY. From the auberge you'll admire the magnificent view of the Pyrenees, and above all, of the château of Montségur and of the lake and horses in the meadow opposite.

Hotel policies

Cancellation Policy

If cancelled up to 2 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged. If cancelled later, the first night will be charged. In case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged.

Deposit Policy

No deposit will be charged.

VAT and city/tourist taxes

5.5 % VAT is included. Service charge is not applicable. EUR 0.31 city/tourist tax per person per night is not included.

Meal Plan

Continental breakfast costs EUR 6.50 per person. Full English breakfast costs EUR 10.00 per person. Buffet breakfast costs EUR 6.50 per person. Breakfast costs EUR 6.50 per person.

Children and Extra Bed Policy

All children are welcome. All children under 2 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding. All children under 2 years are charged EUR 5.00 per night and person for cots. There is no capacity for extra beds in the room. Maximum capacity of babycots in a room is 1.
