Penguin Hotel

Penguin Hotel is under Swiss management and located directly across from the beach. Visitors appreciate the hotel is a casual art deco hotel located in the quiet part of South Beach's world famous Ocean Drive. The shopping area on Lincoln Street and the Convention Center are within walking distance. In 2006, and above all, Penguin Hotel was completely renovated. Designed by Henry Hohauser, very much appreciated, Penguin Hotel is a perfect example of the late 1940's art deco style. The legendary Front Porch Café serves the best breakfast in town.

The Front Porch Cafe at The Penguin Hotel serves casual but excellent all-day breakfast, lunch and dinner. Breakfast at The Front Porch is considered to be the best in South Beach.

Upon check-in photo identification and credit card are required. Accepted credit cards for check-in deposit are Visa and Mastercard. Credit cards have to be authorized to cover USD 200 at a minimum. Otherwise a cash deposit of USD 200 per room is requested.

Address 1418 Ocean Drive FL 33139 Miami Beach (Florida)		Travel information Miami International Airport take 836 East, After the Tollgate follow the signs for I-395 the Mcarthur Causeway. Take the Causeway to Miami Beach, which becomes 5th Street. Make a left at Ocean Drive and go straight. After 14th Street the Hotel is on the left hand side. The hotel has no parking facilities. The next parking facilities are one block away (USD 10 per day).
Area information The Penguin Resort is perfectly located between the main Shopping areas in South Beach: Lincoln Road mall, Washington Avenue and Collins Avenue. At night time you can also walk to the world-class galleries, cafes, restaurants, theaters and nightclubs of Ocean Drive, Collins Avenue, Washington Avenue and Lincoln Road.
