A privately owned hotel of individual style set the countryside, valued throughout, where our guests are treated with a warm welcome upon arrival. Both Luton and Stansted airport are within easy reach. Ideally situated just outside Shefford adjacent to the A507/A600 on the Beds/ Herts borders and a short drive from the town of Bedford, and above all, Hitchin, Stevenage and Luton.

Hotel details

The hotel has a warm and relaxing atmosphere, with its rustic charm bar that has a log buring fireplace, and beamed ceilings. The staff at the carriage house go that bit further to give your stay a "home form home" feel.

Address 16 Hitchin Road, SG17 5JF Meppershall, Bedfordshire		Travel information The hotel ideally situated at the junction of the A507 and the A600 approximately four miles from the A1M JCN 10 and eleven miles from the M1 JCN 12. But we are also sitated just 20 minutes from London/Luton airport.
Area information We are just a short drive from a number of places of historical interest, such as Woburn Abbey with it's Safari Park, Hatfield House, Luton Hoo & houton house the birthplace of John Bunyan and the home of The Shuttleworth Collection. There are several good quality golf courses nearby, including Woburn, Mentmore and Bedfordshire Golf Club. The area is also well known for its world class fishing lakes which includes Wyboston Lakes.

If cancelled up to 1 day before the date of arrival, no fee will be charged. If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the first night will be charged.

No deposit will be charged.

Meal Plan

Breakfast is included in the room rate.

Children and Extra Bed Policy

All children are welcome. One child under 4 years stays free of charge in a baby cot. All children under 6 years stay free of charge for extra beds. All children from 6 to 14 years are charged GBP 9.00 per night and person for extra beds. All older children or adults are charged GBP 15.00 per night and person for extra beds. Maximum capacity of babycots in a room is 1.
