The Solana Hotel is a newly finished 4-star Hotel situated in the centre of the quaint village of Mellieha. The Hotel's façade, built in traditional Maltese Limestone is a good introduction to what lies behind. The Solana Hotel’s architectural characteristics and location were well thought in advance to cater for the leisure and the business traveller alike. The central location, the very comfortable rooms, the remarkable cleanliness & up keeping of the hotel, the professional but still friendly staff, the food, the leisure facilities, and the views from our terraces will not remain impressed as simple ‘comfort’ in our guests’ minds but much much more... Our motto is to continuously strive to improve our hospitality, service and product standards and up North we intend not to leave any other option.

Explore the range of cuisine at the variety of restaurants and bars: Visit Tosca restaurant and sample local and international flavours which are complimented by a fine selection of wines in an elegant setting. Buffet service is available for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Breakfast is served between 07:30-10:00 and Dinner is served between 19:00-21:00. Take a trip to Cafe Pucini which is a coffee shop offering a wide selection of baguettes and snacks, salads, home made pastries, coffee specialities and a choice of cocktails, local and foreign beers and international drinks. Relax in the lounge area which comprises of comfortable sofas and couches and a seating area. Café Puccini transforms it’s lively ambiance to a mellow atmosphere during the evening and is enhanced by subtle lighting , live entertainment and liqueur sipping through the night. Discover Vista De Mar (open in Summer - weather permitting) Relax on the rooftop which offers breathtaking views of the village, Ghadira Bay and the sister islands of Comino and Gozo. Take advantage of the outdoor terrace which can accommodate from 2 to 200 guests for receptions, dinners, barbecues and an innovative dining experience.

Cancellation Policy

If cancelled up to 2 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged.  If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged.

No deposit will be charged.

VAT is included.  Service charge is included.  City/tourist tax is not applicable. 

Meal Plan

Buffet breakfast is included in the room rate. 

Children and Extra Bed Policy

All children are welcome.  All children under 3 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.  All children under 2 years stay free of charge for cots.  All older children or adults stay free of charge for extra beds.  Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 2.
