After the new bridge over the Elbe you turn left direction Winkwitz. Or you leave the A4 at exit Dresden Altstadt and drive onto the B6 direction Meissen. After the new bridge over the Elbe you turn left direction Winkwitz.
Area information Tour the historical Old Town of Meissen and visit the "Albrechtsburg", the cathedrale and the church with its famous carillon. Discover the history of porcelain in the National Manufacture and sample different delicious wines in the cellars at the Saxon wine route. In Dresden you find the baroque palace "Zwinger", the Church of Our Lady and the Semper Opera House. In Moritzburg you visit the summer residence of August II the Strong or you ramble in the Elbe Sandstone Mountains and conquer the Königstein Fortress. The young and the young at heart enjoy a ride on the Elbe with a steamboat from the oldest fleet of paddlesteamers worldwide.
