The small traditional houses of Marvão, valued throughout, a medieval town with walls dating back to the 13th century, seem to squeeze the narrow little streets that wind between them.

Address Rua 24 Janeiro, 7 7330-122 Marvão (Alentejo)		Travel information By Car (from Lisbon or Porto): - Take the A1 highway and exit at Torres Novas. - Go along the A23 until the exit to Portalegre, where you have to take the IP2. - Travel along the IP2 until Alpalhão, where you must follow the EN246 towards Castelo Vide / Spain. - Passing by Castelo Vide, follow the directions to Portagem/Marvão. - At the Village of Portagem take a left and follow in the direction of Marvão. - Come into the village, taking a left (always around the walls) and you will see the sign, Pousada P, where you can park your car.

Hotel policies

Cancellation Policy

If cancelled up to 2 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged. If cancelled later, the first night will be charged. In case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged.

Deposit Policy

No deposit will be charged.

VAT and city/tourist taxes

5 % VAT is included. Service charge is not applicable. City/tourist tax is not applicable.

Meal Plan

Buffet breakfast is included in the room rate.

Children and Extra Bed Policy

All children are welcome. All children under 2 years stay free of charge for cots. All children from 2 to 12 years are charged 15 % of the room stay per night and person for extra beds. All older children or adults are charged 30 % of the room stay per night and person for extra beds. Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 2.
