Area information Situated at the junction of Northampton Road (A508) and Welland Park Road (A4304) in the lovely little town of Market Harborough, this ancient burgh, steeped in history, is an ideal venue for the traveller, the business person or holiday maker. Also, for the historian, close by you can find the battlefields of Naseby and Bosworth. Don't miss a visit to Foxten locks and museum; the largest set in the country. Many visitors stop in Market Harborough en-route to the East Coast holiday resorts, the Norfolk Broads and England's largest man-made lake at Rutland Water. Distances: Foxton Locks Country Park: 2 km Rockingham Castle: 6 km Foxton Canal Museum: 2 km Travel information From Market Harborough town centre: - The hotel is a quarter of a mile south along the Northampton Rd (A508). - The entrance is a right turn just after Acorn Lodge (on the right) into Welland Park Road. From the North, South or West: - Take the M1. - Exit at junction 20. - Follow the B5363 into Market Harborough (watch for speed cameras). - Fork right at the first mini-roundabout into Welland Park Road. - Continue straight on over the next mini-roundabout. - You will come to a T-junction where you will find the hotel on the left. From the East: - Take the A14. - Exit at junction 2 or at Northampton. - Follow the A508 into Market Harborough. - Turn left at the first set of traffic lights into Welland Park Road. - The hotel is immediately on the right. The hotel has a large free car park.
