Marciac is a Gers 13th century "bastide" that has preserved its central square surrounded by beautiful houses with arcades. It boasts a charming Natural History Museum, a 14th century Church and its belfry – the highest in the Gers country, remains of the Galiax feudal castle, the Doubrère Museum (watercolours). Marciac is very famous for its jazz festival, Jazz in Marciac : a festive event bringing together legendary jazzmen and promising young talents.
