The Midland is also within walking distance of the Bridgewater Opera House, the Palace Theatre and the GMEX Centre, ensuring that it offers easy access to a whole range of events. There is no parking available on site. Parking is available at an additional cost at the Manchester Central NCP car park (previously known as the GMEX).

Food & Beverages

The hotel’s award-winning French restaurant is open from 19:00 to 22:30, Monday to Saturday. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are served in the Colony Restaurant, which is open from Monday to Sunday. No carvery (buffet dinner) option is available at present. Room service is available 24 hours a day.

Internet

Wireless internet is available in the entire hotel and costs GBP 18.00 per 24 hours. 

Parking

Public parking is possible at a location nearby (reservation is not possible) and costs GBP 16.50 per day.

Pets are not allowed.

Cancellation Policy

If cancelled up to 12:00 on the date of arrival, no fee will be charged.  If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the first night will be charged. 

Deposit Policy

No deposit will be charged. 

VAT and city/tourist taxes

VAT is included.  Service charge is included.  City/tourist tax is not applicable. 

Meal Plan

Continental breakfast is not included and costs GBP 9.95 per person.  Full English breakfast is not included and costs GBP 15.00 per person.  Buffet breakfast is not included and costs GBP 15.00 per person.  Breakfast is not included and costs GBP 15.00 per person. 

Children and Extra Bed Policy

All children are welcome.  All children under 5 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.  All children under 2 years stay free of charge for cots.  All older children or adults stay free of charge for extra beds.  Maximum capacity of extra beds in a room is 1.  Maximum capacity of babycots in a room is 2.
